should I just bin it?

I tried out an eggless chocolate cake for dd1 and it tastes fine but completely fell apart when I removed in from the tin.

Is there any way to use it up or should I bin it and chalk it down to experience?

Thanks

Here she is yummy making it on you tube.

Sorry can't find recipe (it's in Feast) except on American sites talking about heavy cream and cups of chocolate....

Thanks.

The trifle looks lush but would require a shopping trip to acquire cherries and cherry brandy (reminds me of I Capture the Castle) and lots of other ingredients I don't have.

Am thinking bits of chocolate cake, jar of Nutella and the recent 'chain-eating' thread. See where I am going with this?

crumble it up and make truffles? Freeze it to make choc trifle in future?

Nuke slices and serve with vanilla ice cream

ruckyrunt · 23/05/2010 12:31

ZacharyQuack · 23/05/2010 12:32

Chocolate truffle slice used 1.5 cups of chocolate cake crumbs and is delicious.

Use it instead of madeira cake in a rocky road / fridge cake type thing.

Lace with any alocohol you have and serve with ice cream or yoghurt?
