Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook VS Primrose Hill Bakery Cupcakes cookbook

I've read the thread on The Hummingbird Bakery book and am very tempted to purchase one or ask for it for my birthday but I saw another book in the shop today which caught my eye "Primrose Hill Cupcakes cookbook".

Has anyone got a copy of this and tried the recipes in it? Which of the two do you think is better value for money?

I have the Primrose Hill book and it really is fab, the cakes come out perfectly even for a faff like me, but there isn't much variation I suppose.

I've got the hummingbird one, have only tried one or two recipes but their cupcake (sponge) one simply does not work. Very beautiful and inspirational though. Haven't seen the thread?
