Family-friendly ideas please to use up cream cheese, fromage frais and double cream

Had to cancel a dinner party on Sat night due to food poisoning (ugh) so have a fridge full of all sorts of stuff we wouldn't normally eat.

In particular, I need to use up biggish tubs of cream cheese, fromage frais and double cream (2 of which were intended for a cheesecake, which the DDs don't like).

All ideas gratefully received - sweet ones probably particularly useful as I have most of our main meals planned for the week ...

wel tonight for my dinner i made a soinach pasta dish

i cooked penne
then lightly fried 1 onion and clove of garlic in a tiny bot of oil.... added nutmeg, and fried a bit more, then added spinach (chopped with scissors) a squirt of lemon juice, freshly ground pepper and half a tub of cream cheese...

i gave it a stir, decided it wasnt runny enough so i added in a bit of greek yogurt (would have used cream if i had it but i didnt)

mixed it with freshly drained pasta... YUM YUM

Do they like porridge? It's gorgeous with a splodge of double cream on top! You could also use it in a quiche and freeze it, if you don't want to eat this week.

Fry onions, garlic and mushrooms, then stir in the cream cheese and some chives and serve over pasta. You may need to thin it down with a drop of milk.

fromage frais - erm - maybe stir some icing sugar into it and serve with berries?

DD1 loves porridge - will give that a go, thanks janeite.

Love the other ideas too - will try the fromage frais thing this evening (we're having a roast so can't do the pasta yet).

Asparagus is in season at the moment and is lovely. Try lightly steaming, then bundling up into three or four stems, dollop on a good spoonful of cream cheese and wrap in parma ham. Bung in the oven on high for a few mins until ham is crispy. Gorgeous.
