My chicken soup is little more than a fairly tasteless stock - what's gone wrong?

Followed the recipe although it didn't make it very clear how much water to use.

Was aimimg for a simple broth but is it really supposed to be like chicken stock??? Help how can I salvage 4 litres of the stuff??

Keep boiling it! if you reduce the amount of liquid you'll concentrate the flavour. When it's tasting a bit stronger season it up with some salt and pepper and maybe lemon juice and even a little sugar until it taste as you want it to.

stock powder. That will give it taste in an instant. Also black pepper and more herbs - parsely oregano etc

Can I put it in the fridge over night a play around with it tomorrow or will that not work?

yeha def chuck in te fridge then boil to death tomorrow. Always works well for me
