Years ago as a teenager I had dinner at a friends house and her mum made meatballs baked in the oven. With it was some peeled potato halves, some carrot and onion. The gravy or sauce that it was all baked in looked like semi thick bisto ish when it was served! Maybe it is a memory that will taste yuk years later but at the time it was wonderful, has anyone got a similar recipe so I can try to re create it!!
