OK, so no-ones going to actually die or anything, so perhaps not that urgent, but my coeliac friend is on her way over and I'd love to bake her something.

I have no ground almonds, no rice flour, nothing in the house that I can give her as far as I can see.

Do you have chocolate and eggs ? A baked choc mousse cake is always v nice

Do you have cornflour ? Polenta ?

Oh good grief.

After a good rummage in my cupboards I've decided it's hopeless. I really need to shop.

No cornflour, no polenta, a handful of chocolate chips, 4 eggs, many varieties of dried fruit, lots of lovely varieties of useless flour...
