Do you serve anything with risotto?

Probably a bit of a thick question, but I am trying to expand my menu! It seems to be the same thing over and over, I'm quite a good cook just a bit uninspired.

So I thought I would try an oven baked risotto. The only thing is, I know my hubby will look at it and ask what else there is. So do I put some nice bread with it or something or just tell him knickers?

Cheers.

Tend to do a salad.

Italian sausages and some sort of green salad.

Def salad to cut the richness. though I would also have the garlic bread (my body has no Off switch to shovelling carbs in)

Not bread. We tend to have a rocket salad with balsamic vinegar to 'cut through' the richness a bit. Sometimes roasted asparagus, if I'm not putting asparagus in the risotto. Dp and dd1 like roasted cherry tomatoes with it - shudder.
