Curries - what kind of beef to use?

Does anyone make beef curries? I never have but a red beef curry has been requested. What cut of beef do I use? Is it steak that goes tough when stewed or shall I just use stir-fry beef? Thanks!

I use stewing steak or braising steak, but cook it until tender in water and stock in the pressure cooker before adding it to the curry. It's pretty quick.

If you have hours and hours to casserole it then you can't beat skirt - I do a (prob v inauthentic) malaysian curry and it is lovely.

I could cook it for a good long while, so great. Glad I don't have to use expensive stuff!
