I tried the first part of the rhubarb creme brulee one, but I'm afraid the rhubarb came out rather yummy and we scoffed it with custard before we got round to doing all the burnt creme stuff.
Then I got the chicken and tarragon for this week's - encouraged by the half price chicken. We had it yesterday and it was majorly good. We also had some more rhubarb, which is still on special offer, again baked with the stem ginger. Again, it was just too tempting to scoff it warm rather than waiting for it to cool down.
So some palpable success, and I thought you'd like to know!
