Simple but tasty biscuit recipe please with ingrediants from my cupboard?

have bought some cute bunny and teddy cutters today for easter biscuits (ummm Easter Teddies!) anyway anyone got a simple yet tasty recipe - probably plain as we will ice them

Also if I was doing chocolate biscuits er....a recipe for this aswell please!

Shortbread:

6oz plain flour
1oz ground rice/semolina
2oz caster sugar
4oz butter

Mix the dry ingredients then rub in the butter until it comes together in a ball. Roll out and cut with cutters.

Bake at gas 4 for 10-15 mins or until golden. Sprinkle with more caster sugar while still hot then cool on a wire tray.

DS1 (3) loves making these and they taste fab.

Here

If you cannot get the packets of vanilla sugar, use a drop of vanilla essence.

It is very easy, and not too crumbly so children find it easy to work with.
