I went to the supermarket today and after getting the usual chicken, sausages etc. decided to be a bit adventurous.

Simple recipes with few ingredients, please.

I can't say I have ever cooked them. You could put them in a paella or a casserole.

Tinned tomatoes, sliced onion, some mushrooms & maybe some leeks - casserole for ages with some garlic & some herbs

Thanks Katymac- sort of like chicken casserole then? Do I brown it first?

I recall eating tagiatelle with rabbit and cream sauce...that was v.good

Katymac · 27/03/2010 20:53

It's been years since I had it - but I don't think I browned it - just cooked it long & slow

HumphreyCobbler · 27/03/2010 20:56

I would casserole with some bacon, onion, celery, carrots and white wine. Cut it all up into large chunks, sweat all the veg, quickly brown the rabbit, add the wine and some seasoning/stock and simmer for an hour. Serve with mashed potato.

Thanks Humphrey
