Come on ladies, help me out

Been doing WW for 2 months now, and I am so sick of eating the same crap. It's getting so bad that I am actually starting to lose my huge appetite, and am resorting to a quick tin of WW soup or like last night, a bowl of branflakes for dinner

I don't usually eat until DD is in bed, and it is often 9pm before I can sit down and eat after cooking something. By that point, I can't be bothered eating it.

So I need a kick up the arse, and some new and quick recipes to try. Have a slow cooker, and anything I can chuck in that would be great also!

(P.S, I have all the cookbooks but I think there are about 5 dishes in the lot I have wanted to actually cook, and about 2 that I have liked!)

TIA!

Do you like fish?

This steamed fish with ginger and spring onion is quick, easy and gorgeous. If you're careful with the oil it could be about 2 or 3 points. I find it's enough with just steamed pak choi but you could have noodles or rice.

It's strong flavours so feels more satisfying somehow.

My fave used to be a chinesey beef stir fry type thing:

Fry up a pack of those beef stir fry strips you get from Tesco.

Add a sliced onion, and 2 tbsp each of honey, oyster and soy sauce plus 1/2 tsp of pepper (the thick stuff, not the powdery sort), then add a pack of sugar snap peas (or a green pepper if you fancy).

Done. Serve with some rice or noodles.

HAving said all that, I can't remember for the life of me how many points it was... Think it was 3-4 with rice in. Sorry. That's useless of me. Will go and see if I can find the original recipe somewhere, probably in the back of a drawer.

Actually, I might have that for my tea tonight!

myfirstbump - also sounds fab, love stir frys so it'd be great if you could find the recipe thanks!

SWBL, what are your favourite recipes?

Mine is add to natural Yoghart, grated garlic and fresh ginger and coriander, curry powder, cumin, paprika, mace...marinate for a few hours.

Bake in oven till firm - this is better actually over cooked rather than soft and sloppy!

Whilst in oven baking roast some red onions, red and green peppers.

Serve if wanted with some of the left over yoghart mixed with a tsp of mint sauce...gorgerous - points depends on size of salmon but med fillet I used to work out at around 4 points
