I realise this has been around for a while, so you lot will probably be, "like, everybody knows that " but just in case any of you don't know, I'm here to share.
- bring small pan of water to a gentle boil.
- place (room temperature) eggs in and simmer for 1 minute - use a timer.
- Turn the heat off and put the lid on the pan for 6 mins for very soft, 7 minutes for soft yolk and firm white.

I'm recovering from a stomach bug so needed to have egg in a mug like mum used to do. I think it's made my stomach worse, but psychologically, I feel nurtured.
