Sausages + slow cooker + ???? = tasty meal

Fill in the blanks with your favourties please

2 parsnips, 4 carrots, 1 apple = all peeled then grated.
2 tins plum tomatoes, drained (too much liquid if not drained) then chopped or lightly whizzed with blender
garlic & some herbs.

all kind of simmers down to a thick sauce.

2 tins chopped toms, 1 tin red kidney beans, 1 chopped onion, 2 cloves garlic, 1 red chilli and some dried herbs.

Lovely with baked potatoes.

peppers, chickpeas,
kidney beans,
butter beans,
2 cans tinned tomatoes,
heaped teaspoon of smoked paprika,
2 bay leaves,
teaspoon swiss vegetable boullion,
a glass of water or wine if any is knocking about.

Lovely with creamy mashed potato.

Oh and please brown the sausages well first or they make me shudder.

I usually like a lot of liquor, I have the sausage free left overs for my lunch.

It's okay notsoteenagemum - if I have wobbly sausages I won't show them to you!
