I have too many carrots. Can I freeze them?

And should I peel and chop them first, or even cook them first?

Or do I just have to make lots of soup?

Set them free, they have done nothing wrong.

peel and chop 'em and then blanch them and freeze them. That's what I'd do.

Blanch - is that cook a little bit?

And then when I need them, can I just steam them straight from frozen?

Hullygully, they broke into my kitchen and ate my last bit of chocolate. They Have To Go.

yy blanch = cook for a little bit. I'd say three minutes for chopped carrots.

Then just steam/roast/boil from frozen.

If they stole your chocolate then puree the buggers.
