is it ok to freeze this icing?

I'm making coconut slice. The icing recipe is:
1 egg white
7ozs icing sugar
1 tbl spoon orange juice
and desicated coconut(sorry can't remember quantity)

Do you think it would be ok to freeze?

Try freezing a defrosting a bit in an ice-cube tray?

I would probably just freeze the cake and ice when ready to use it though.
