Frankie & Benny's Herb Potatoes?

Anyone know the herb mix and/or method to make something similar? I do little diced potatoes in the oven quite often but mine are always oilier than these. The F&B's version is much drier but I don't know the secret.

Have googled - but most of the recipes are pretty much what I do, cubed pots, toss in olive oil and sprinkle with some rosemary and thyme or whatever's to hand.

Anyone got a foolproof secret family recipe they'd care to share?

I'd guess the difference is ddep frying vs roasting.

If the oil is good and the temp is spot on, deep frying should give you crisp but not oily.

I use to work for F&B's many years ago, and these pots were McCain deep fry ones. Racking my brain for the proper name now buy can't remember - southern something or others. Know it's not a recipe but if you're desperate for the real deal the you might be able to track them down!

They're called McCain Classics Savoury Herb Dice. If you google there's a link to the McCain website with the product info on it, has a list of all the herbs they use :)
