have less spaghetti and more prawns then!

Similar thing - marinate prawns in lime juice (about 2 limes worth), soy sauce a bit of honey, crushed garlic(anout 2 cloves) and chilli sauce or tabasco
THen just heat up and add prawns to warm through. Serve with boiled rice.
Or marinate, drain and serve with salad!

I made this recipe last night and it was yummy!

Ingredients

16 large King Prawns in their shells
3 tbsp Sherry
Salt
1 tsp` Sesame Seeds
3 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Lemon Juice

Method

  1. Prepare the prawns by removing the heads and legs but leaving the shells on. Cut along the underside of each prawn and carefully open them flat pressing lightly.
  2. Mix the prawns with the sherry, salt and t tablespoon of the soy sauce. Marinate for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the grill and line the grill pan with foil.
  1. Arrnagae the prawns in the grill pan, shell side up and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Gril for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Turn the prawns over, baste with juices and grill for a further 4 minutes.
  3. To serve - mix the lemon juice and remaining soy sauce in a small bowl. Place on a large plate surrounded by the prawns and use as a dipping sauce.

Tips

To make this more substantial you could serve this with rice or crusty bread and some salad.

Pan fry with ginger ,garlic ,& chilli.
Squeeze over lemon juice and lots of chopped parsley/coriander and serve on toasted ciabatta. Delicious.

Thai green cuury paste, cocnut milk and stir in prawns and coriander at the end. Could bulk out with some pak choi, spinach or green beans.

BUT you shouldn't buy tiger prawns cos they are farmed in appalling conditions and are often air freighted so are a very environmentally unsound sourse of protein. Yummy though!
