Dh roasted a chicken for him and dds' lunch.

Then he left it out to cool, just realised it is still out (came ot of oven at 1pm).

Is it ok to put in the fridge or has it been out too long.

When googling, the only thing I ofund was after 2 hours it should be chucked away.

Help!!

absolutely fine

would have been too hot to go into the fridge for much of the time.

Well, Kitten, you see that's one of the things that always confuses me.

When it says to refrigerate within such and such a time. But then you have to put it in the fridge warm, which must be bad for the rest fo the food, no?

Dh will be pleased that Mn jury agree with him!

My mum never put cooked meat in the fridge when we were growing up, just in a cold cellar
we were always fine

It was rather chilly in the kitchen anyway as door was open.

Am convinced.

thanks all
