a creamy mushroom sauce to accompany chicken...

anyone have a recipe? I dont know why but i just really fancy this.

I'm going to be really brave and say Campbells condensed mushrom soup (might have been rebranded as batchelors)

Now running before the foodie police catch up with me!

I just add 1/4 of a small onion, 1 clove of garlic to a pan (cook for 2 minutes), add mushrooms (cook for 2 minutes),add double cream and reduce down (until nice and thick), you could always add a splash of white wine or maybe some herbs.

I think Campbell's condensed soups are brilliant. I have a few great really easy family faves we do using them.

Marne's recipe sounds yum I would maybe go creme fraiche instead of cream and thyme as the herb.

MIL used to use the condensed mushroom soup... it wasn't bad. But Marne's sounds a lot nicer!
