where to buy glass noodles?

anyone know if they're available in the big supermarkets or will i have to go to a specialist shop?

Do you mean thin rice noodles? Sainsburys do them

thanks. the ones i mean are almost see through and very thin indeed so probably the ones you're thinking of...

You'll be able to buy rice noodles almost anywhere - supermarkets, most food shops in large towns, chinese shops.

Glass noodles, cute.

Translucent ones are not rice noodles. Probably mung bean noodles. Google-image to see if those are what you want. You can get them in Chinese supermarkets. There are other varieties too from Japanese supermarkets.
