Have some normal potatoes too. Can't think of anything more exciting that sausages and sweet pot and carrot mash. Please inspire me!

On mobile so can't even google for recipes!

Do a casserole - chop everything up and brown with onions and garlic

cover with stock and a can of tomatoes

some herbs should be nice and some tinned pulses

I wouldn't mash the carrots and the sweet potato together, in fact I wouldn't mash them at all. Try glazing the carrots (with butter & sugar) and bake or roast the sweet potato. In fact, that might all be a bit too sweet, go for carrots OR sweet potato.

If you've got a tin of any kind of pulse (including baked beans) then sausage, bean and veg casserole.
If not, sausages with baked sweet potato, and carrots cooked normally.

Sausages, roasted sweet potato and carrot wedges. mmmmmmm

Excellent suggestions, thank you ladies. How do you make carrot wedges, in the same way as potato ones I assume?

I have chickpeas? Could I stick them in casserole too? The lazy in me is leaning towards casserole! Love honey roasted veg but agree it might all be a bit too sweet.
