About to go into hospital. Need to fill freezer - total incompetent with freezing - what works well in a freezer

Hi
Shortly about to go into hospital and would like to fill freezer with some meals for DH and DDs before I go. I'm terrible at knowing what you can freeze and can't. So please share with me your tips for freezer recipes. I know Lasagne freezes but what else?!

Thanks

most recipes made with mince, spag bol sauce, cottage pie, chilli.

chicken, lamb, beef, cassarole, with rice.

buy frozen veg so they can just be added into things. Pulses like chick peas can be frozen and then added. SOups - pretty much any soup just leave out cream and cheese i think.

Pasta sauces, make a batch of tomatoes style and then you could use it for soup or other mince dishes.

Brownies but mine never get there.

Not v eco friendly, but those small foil trays you get take aways in are good (about 8 for £1 in asda). I made things like the recipes mentioned above (lasagne works esp. well) before going into hospital to give birth. They can be dated and labelled on the lids and just bunged in a hot oven for 30 mins or so (minus lids!).

Macaroni cheese is also good
