Need to defrost freezer and have found a bag of Alaskan Salmon fillets. Have got a bag of spuds in the cupboard that needs to be used. WHat can I make? THe fillets need to be cooked from frozen - can I cook them in microwave, stick them in a fish pie with mash on top - bake in oven and freeze and reheat portions for the kids? REcipes would be most gratefully recieved!

yes - as long as food is cooked between being defrosted and frozen again it is fine.

I;d just do a basic white or cheese sauce and mix it with the (microwaved) fish adn some peas. Bung a bit of mash on the top and it'll be fine. Or bake the fish in the oven in milk adn then use the milk to make the sauce.

Someone may have some more exciting answers though
