Can you cook sausages from frozen?

DH is out, fed the kids and put them to bed. Just realised I now have nothing to eat

After raking about the freezer, I have discovered some frozen sausages. Can I cook them from frozen or do I have to defrost them first?

I wouldn't...do you have a microwave?

Gillian76 · 30/06/2005 20:36

under the grill - easy done. Dh is a chef and always cooks sausages from frozen

Gillian76 · 30/06/2005 20:38

Yes JanH, but I hate defrosting in there. I always think the stuff starts to cook while it's defrosting. Could be my microwave!

If I die tonight at least we will know what caused it!

We only ever have frozen sausages (can't stand proper ones with real meat in them ) I've never defrosted them, and I'm sure it has instructions to cook from frozen on the pack.

You'll be fine!

They weren't actually frozen sausages, rather fresh ones that I froze, IYSWIM!

Have eaten them now, so if you don't hear from me tomorrow...
