Because that is all a poussin is.

What joints would I use?

'course you can, and use any joints you like. Is it the lemon / garlic recipe that she puts in the oven while she goes to the pub with her mates?? I use it all the time with thighs and drumsticks... works a treat

Thanks, that was what I was planning to do. It is the festiveone, but I imagine it is the basic same recipe.

Do you adjust the cooking time?

The one I'm thinking of... she crams 3 or 4 poussins in a tin with lemon and garlic and I think leaves it in the oven for an hour or so.
Thighs and drumsticks will be done in about 45 minutes (even in a stuffed tray) but a little bit longer (up to an hour even) won't do any harm... in fact the meat is so tender and just drops off the bone.
Mmmm... mouth starting to water now

It was delicious, done as you said in about 45-50 minutes. Will definitely do it again.
