Has anyone tried Jamie Olivers flavoured butter for the best turkey in the world?

Before I bugger off with three children (one disabled ) to the hell that is tesco. Has anyone tried this?

Is it nice?

Is it too sweet?

Is a bog standard arrangement of bacon on top of turkey good enough and nice enough without being a right fancy pants showoff?

TIA

No idesa, sorry, but it sounds heavenly.

Is this the Truffle Butter? I tried it one year and it was OK but not worth the trip just for it.

no, it is from his latest exploits. It is cranberries, sage, thymme, nutmeg etc

I still have not got my arse out of the house

Doing it tomorrow, and have just come from Tescos with all the stuff. Tescos was like the end of days with elderly slow people and screaming kids, me being the proud owner of one of them. Cant be arsed with putting nutmeg in it, but have got all the other stuff, will report back tomorrow, but that'll be too late then wont it, im no good .

Was going to do the gravy he suggested too, but after battling some very agressive cronies at virtually every butchers going for chicken wings, I gave up.

mrs will, I still would like to know! Well done for braving tesco....I pulled onto the carpark, could not aprk, panicked at the amount of people and then decided to walk to my local co-op. I have all igredients for the butter but the herbs are dried rather than fresh

did you try it mrswill? I decided to it, having the time, christmas day and it was lovely when warm (and smelt divine) though not so nice when cold (why?!)
