Gravy without any meat juices

So, whilst everyone is coming to ours Christmas morning, I've delegated cooking the christmas turkey , so won't be able to use meat juices.
I'm quite keen to make gravy in advance (if possible?) ... has anyone tried this?
Or any alternatives i can make, before reaching for the Bisto jar?
Thanks for reading

You can use the water from cooking the veg to add flavour

Or buy a jar of ready made gravy from Asda

Have you tried Iklboodolphthrerednosereindeer ready made gravy? I haven't and just don't know what they'll be like - any better than Bisto?

just stir in a spoon of marmite into whatever gravy mix you are using - makes it yummy!

jamie oliver had a really nice gravy on the other night that you could freeze and then reheat on the day
