my 20 mth old dd will eat with her fingers but isn't that bothered. Will eat bread and butter inbits and pieces usually licks all butter off first! Breadsticks no problems but won't do sandwiches or ham or anything like that. She likes hotdog sausages which I do with mash for her tea (sausages are cut up smallish bits) but put on a plate chopped with bread and butter etc won't touch. The same goes for fruit. Will not eat it as finger food only mashed with custard or as a crumble. Any ideas - help

My ds was just the same and has only recently started doing sandwiches etc. He just decided he would. Not a lot you can do I don't think!
My nephew was complete opposite, only liked finger food. So nursery put his fish fingers and beans in bread and he ate the lot
