i have been trying to make flapjacks for nearly 20 years - all have ended in failure, honestly I am losing hope. I even tried a Mary Berry fool proof recipe a couple of days back and toffee like thin inedible result again.
I am honestly a good cook and I can make some really complicated stuff why can't I make flapjacks just oats, butter, sugar and golden syrup.
I make sure I have the right tin, I have a hot oven but I adjust 30 degrees down and that works for everything else.
Help help help.
