I'd make buns, melt the chocolate on top, then sprinkle smarties on top.

I'd then make myself a cup of tea and eat the marshmallows and digestives .

Delia's all in one recipe -

110g Flour
110g caster sugar
110g marg/ butter
2 eggs
1tsp baking powder
tbsp cocoa

Just throw it all together and mix. Cook at 170 for 15 mins.

Top tip is to put a cube of choc on top of each bun as you take them out of the oven. It will melt down and then you can just pop the smarties on top.

Hi - You could use this plain fairy cake recipe and replace 2 tbsp of flour with the same amount of cocoa powder.

140g butter , very well softened
140g golden caster sugar
3 medium eggs
100g self-raising flour
25g custard powder or cornflour

Heat the oven to 190C/fan 170C/gas 5. Arrange paper cases in bun tins. Put all the cake ingredients in a large bowl and beat for about 2 mins until smooth. Divide the mixture between the cases so they are half filled and bake for 12-15 mins, until risen and golden. Cool on a wire rack.

You could ice the tops and push smarties into icing before it sets
