Just fancy something smokey soup-wise, tasted both in restaurants a few years ago, and if anyone has a brilliant recipe for one or the other I would be delighted to try it out!

TIA

I have one in the covent garden recipe book, haven't actually made it though, but their other ones are nice! I'll type it out for you

ok serves 4
100ml whole fat milk
426 ml veg stock
2 fillets smoked haddock
25g butter
1 small onion
1 med potato diced
1 tsp copped parsley
2 tbsp double cream
S&P

heat milk and half stock, add fish and poach for 10 mins
remove from heat and cool fish in liquid
in another pan melt butter, add onion and cook gently 5 mins without colouring
add potato and rest of stock, bring to boil, cover and simmer 15 mins
add liquid from fish pan, but not the fish
blend then return to pan to add fish and parsley, heat gently 2 mins
add cream, season, serve

yum, I want some now!
