I would like a few ideas of recipes that I could cook my frined who is having a tough time at the moment!

I have thought of

Shepherds pie
Lasagne
beef stew
chilli

can you think of anything else?

That's a lovely idea.I would have loved that during rough times. How about lentil soup, tuna pasta bake, curry. Can't think of anything else just now.

Chicken pie?
Cook and chill the filling and then put pastry on top, would then take 40 mins or so in the oven.

Sausage casserole

agree a pie would be nice in this weather

and how abuot a sweet dish, a crumble or something or even choc brownies to have with coffee
