I have a load of thick pork chops in the freezer, how long will they take to defrost and how do I cook them

they are not shop bought
my mate had pigs which he then slaughtered

I've never cooked a pork chop before

how do I do it?

I haven't looked at them yet
but I think they are monstrously thick

am I the only person in the world who is crap at cooking meat

If you get them out now they may be defrosted for tomorrows dinner time..

Just grill/pan fry them for 15-20 minutes.

If they're really thick you could cook them on a lower heat for longer to stop them burning or even cut them in half to make them thinner?
