Ach, you won't be coming to MY house for dinner then

Earlybird · 01/11/2009 13:51

What about some exotic/unusual sorbet (could do several flavours in gorgeous colours) with some very special biscuits or chocs (the kind you get at gourmet/specialty choc shops).

Themasterandmargaritas · 01/11/2009 13:57

Where does dh stand on natural yog?

If it's a positive then a tin of peaches/apricots, split into nice glasses, mix natural yog with a packet of gingernuts, crushed, add a bit of honey if you need it sweeter, put over the peaches and sprinkle ground ginger on top. Yum.

CybilLiberty · 01/11/2009 13:58

OP posts:
JANEITEluddite · 01/11/2009 14:57

If you like plums, do Nigella's baked plums with Barbados cream - bloomin lovely. If you really don't want cream, you can make the Barbados cream with just yoghurt, or the plums are lovely on top of homemade rice pudding too.

AlaskaNebraska · 01/11/2009 14:57

wtf is barbados cream

OP posts:
CybilLiberty · 01/11/2009 14:57

We call it palvulva and now I can;t say it the proper way

JANEITEluddite · 01/11/2009 14:58

Cream and yoghurt, whipped, sprinkled with a layer of brown sugar and left to go all toffee-ish. Trust me; it's fab.

MrsBadger · 01/11/2009 15:06
