Salmon fish cake recipies or other ideas on salmon please

I have some frozen raw salmon in the freezer that needs to be used up - I thought fish cakes, but have never made them - any tips, recipies ideas would be appreciated. The salmon isn't the greatest so needs disguising.
I found a recipe by Tamsin Day Lewis but am not a fan so was hoping someone might have a tried and tested recipe.

The last time we had salmon I cut the fillets into chunks and then pushed them onto wooden skewers with cherry tomatoes and peices of red pepper. I had marinated the salmon in teryaki marinade beforehand to give some more flavour - soy sauce would do too!

Just grill until cooked through. I served with some fried rice - dc loved it
