Was offered Hare - think the offerer wants me to cook it for him!

He shoots, his missus isn't too keen on the plucking/gutting/bloody aspect of what he brings home, so he has given me birds before.

He has offered me hare - he was asking if I can cook jugged hare (which I never have).

Any recipe suggestions?
Will I have to skin it?
Is is paunched on the field like rabbit?
How many does one hare feed?
