Anyone got a good recipe for french onion soup.

There are so many variations on the internet. Can someone recommend one or supply one?

delia and jamie are reliable and tasty

I have always used Delia's recipe, it never fails and is lovely.

That jamie link isn't actually to one of his recipes, it looks just as good as Delai's though, only difference is red wine instead of white.

I have made it ommitting the wine completely before and just using more stock and it has been really nice.
