eat with bread and butter. also nice with beetroot.

make delicious smoked mackerel pate:

flake in bowl and mix with creme fresh, dill, lemon juice, horseradish sauce according to taste...yum yum

I have them flaked in a salad with a big dollop of horseradish sauce.

baked potatoes, scoop out middle, mix with mackerel, bit of butter, milk, horseradish cream and spring onions, put back into potato skins, rebake. yum yum lunch!

Smoked mackerel risotto is yummy.
