I want to make a WOW Lasagne...anyone have a great recipe?

having friends for lunch and want to make a real wow lasagne something abit more than bog standard...anyone got a recipe please?

What is that about?

I usually do bog standard - but I have a recipe in one of my cookbooks that uses butternut squash, lemon zest and herbs and ricotta cheese (I think). I could copy it out and post on here if that sounds good?

I usually do Delia's but have done Jamie's from Ministry of Food a few times recently (uses creme fraiche instead of bechemal (sp?) sauce - it's lovely.

I think that if you want a WOW lasagne, you should do a basic, normal recipe but cook it oh so slowly (the meat sauce I mean) in a low oven so teh flavours really develop

it makes such a diff

thanks for ideas, I always do a big batch of bologanise sauce and leave to cook for at least 2 hours - the creme fraiche sounds interesting will do a practice run
