Waitrose Deliver vs Ocado

Any thoughts?

Which one is likely to be:

#cheaper

#better able to deliver the things I want

#more likely to give me random free stuff (or is all that just a myth?)

In that case why do you use Waitrose deliver Shiney?

I'm hardly likely to pick it just for fan value.

Oh I don't know.

Some of us like to talk about bumsex.

Some of us like to talk about space docking.

Some of us like to talk about the merits of very very slightly different grocery delivery services.

Who are any of us to say who is dull and who is not?

TrillianAstra · 23/09/2009 22:57

I buy the Times, so that's a good thing!

"Some of us like to talk about the merits of very very slightly different grocery delivery services."

Probably not quite exciting enough for quote of the week, but I like

That's the beauty of mumsnet

And it reminds me - has anyone seen jeanpoole around lately? I miss her threads. They were definitely always of the latter variety...

Okay so will someone please recommend me as a friend on ocado so we both get discounts?

morethanyoubargainfor · 26/09/2009 13:03

i love ocado, and i use the ocado on demand, so get my twice weekly delieveries for nowt(apart from the £9.99 a month).

Min Order is £40, easy to spend that!

morethanyoubargainfor · 26/09/2009 13:04

i will reccommend you!

what do i need to do?

TrillianAstra · 26/09/2009 13:15

Thanks! I've sent you a message by CAT so check your email (the one you used to sign up for MN) and hopefully it will all work.

OP posts:
morethanyoubargainfor · 26/09/2009 13:31

have just checked, no email yet,but when it arrives i will do it for you.

TrillianAstra · 26/09/2009 13:33

Cheers, CAT sometimes takes a little while, I don't know if they screen them for being nasty stalkery harassment rather than supermarket-related

OP posts:
morethanyoubargainfor · 26/09/2009 20:46

how long is a little while?

Haven't recieved anything yet.

TrillianAstra · 27/09/2009 00:40

That's weird.

if you go to 'my Mumsnet' at the top and then 'email options' do you definitely have 'CAT from other Mumsnetters' ticked? I would expect it to tell me if I had tried to CAT you and you had it turned off...

OP posts:
morethanyoubargainfor · 27/09/2009 08:52

its all done now,

finally came through about 11 last night.

TrillianAstra · 27/09/2009 12:41

Thank you! I've got until the end of the year to use my 3 vouchers - didn't realise there would be a £90 minimum so they might be a bit mre spread out than I had planned.

OP posts:
morethanyoubargainfor · 27/09/2009 14:28

its ok, i didn't know about the £90 min order either.
