DD (10 months)has refused lunch and dinner today.... why??? All she will eat is yoghurt, so she has had 3!!

She has never refused food before, and usually cant get enough so someone please help me!

JM, what did I say? She's ok. Just relax. Make a list of what she's eating between meals. Absolutely everything. Then look over the list to see how much she is actually eating, compared to your fear that she's hardly eating at all. It's just a phase honey it really is. Don't you worry, it'll end soon.

sorry honey I missed your call on the weekend. How is she doing temp wise etc?

not great.... snotty nose, streaming eyes, sounds like sore throat as well when she cries.... maybe a doctors trip is in order because she is getting worse - 2 doses of neurofen today to bring temp back down.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

not wanting to state the obvious honey but.... she's not well and that's why she's not eating much.

Try to avoid yogurts if she's snotty cos it doesn't help. That said if it's all that she's eating keep an eye on it. Will she eat a fruit pot?

Honestly honey, relax. You watch, once she's better her appetite will come back.

i didnt think she was ill until today, i thought she was being fussy, but things aint good!

should i stop giving yoghurt then and just keep on with the cereal and fruit?!

Breakfast
1/2 weetabix
one slice of kiwi fruit

Lunch
1/2 weetabix again
yoghurt

Tea
1 mouthful mashed potato
1 mouthful dairlylea triangle
yoghurt

no snacks.... she hasnt been interested!

she's fine honey. Let her eat what she wants to eat and stop the dairy if she gets blocked up. btw the sleeping should come back too.

jess aint doing too bad... was up once in the night but thats dh's fault for making too much noise when he got up to go to the loo!

still wont go down til about 9 but once she's down thats her til gone 7!

well if she's sleeping then she's okay. I'll let you know when it's time to panic honey. Don't you fret. Just put a foul tasting antibiotic into DT2. Used a medicine syringe and popped it in quick. He tried to spit it out. It was so funny to watch. He was shaking his head and hands and "raspberrying". lol You should've seen him!

awww bless him! poor little mite.... jess is really good with medecine, except eye drops - they are the nightmare!

Right.... docs say chest infection and cold.... not to worry about giving her food, as long as she will take milk and juice. If she deteriorates to take her back, but otherwise pump her full of antibiotics and see what happens!

Glad it's sorted honey and you can put your mind at rest. The DTs went down after about 10 mins. I woke up at 6 screaming with cramp in my leg. I haven't had that happen before except in pregnancy. And if you say the P word I'll come through this computer and strangle you lol

seeing the DTs scan photo was enough, though when he wobbled I withheld favours cos I told him I wasn't having any little accidents.
