Cake makers: if I use a round instead of loaf tin, do I need to adjust cooking time?

I need to use up 872 ripe bananas, so have decided to make banana cake. Trouble is I only have a small loaf tin (recipe calls for a 2lb tin). If I use a round cake tin, will I need to adjust cooking time or will it work just as well either way?

IIWY I would just keep testing it - if anything I would expect the cooking time to be a bit less with a round tin.

You can freeze ripe bananas and make banana cake with them at some point in the future, BTW.

am strangely disappointed by lack of personal banana mountain and resulting gigantic banana loaf.
