I have probably got around 10 bananas that are about to go off, so any ideas welcome, I can think of a few fattening idea but would prefer a non fattening recipe.

Also would love a banana cake recipe if anyone has got one.

I add them to curry. Makes the sauce really sweet, like a korma.

really, how many would you put in?

Just one! That leaves nine....

Is it just me who finds babanas hysterically funny? I am PMSL here...

banana bread or banana cake.

Or blend them all up with a pot of greek yoghurt and maybe some strawberries or honey and freeze it, for some yummy frozen yoghurt.

You could freeze then in lollipop moulds.

banana bread definitely! this is the recipe I use and it never fails here

overmy - I like the idea of frozen youghart, so how much youghart would i need to go with say 5 bananas?

And I would def like banana cake or bread, which one is less fattening?

hmm my guess is they're about the same, check the butter/sugar ratio of your recipes i suppose.

Baked bananas are lovely - they go really sweet and soft and you won't need any added sugar. A dollop of yoghurt would be nice with them.

crazylovelifelady · 23/07/2009 15:35

oh nice idea with the baked bananas

You could also melt a square of chocolate in with them if you cut a slit in the banana before baking. But only one square wouldn't be too fattening...
