chocolate gnache,can i keep it in the fridge and for how long?

am making ds's birthday cake today for tomorrow and im going to cover it in gnache,i have a recipe i just needed to know how to store it

yes, probably for a week

but in this situation you need to get it on the cake while it is still warm - reheating it is rarely successful

and keeping the whole thing in the fridge will prob have a bad effect on the cake part (unless it is a v rich moist chocolatey sort, not a sponge)

I'd make the ganache and cover the cake in it last thing tonight, leave it out to cool & set overnight and eat tomorrow.

ALthough it's so quick you could almost do it tomorrow morning.

Tis good stuff.

it is a cake made with veg oil not butter so hoping it will be ok in the fridge
