My chickpeas have sprouted, will they still be ok to make houmous from?

Soaked chickpeas on thursday night, drained on friday morning and didn't make houmous straight away as I didn't have all the ingredients. I've now come to make it and most of the chickpeas have got 1/2cm of sprout coming out of them!

Will they be ok to us?

They are fine, some people try to get them to sprout, with lots of rinsing etc.

yes, they're fine. More nutritious houmous, I believe.

Just in case anyone else is interested, the houmous is rather scrummy!
