I want to make rosemary roasted new potatoes

Have made greek(ish) lamb stew and want to roast some new potatoes in their skin to go with them.

I have tried before and they either don't go nice and crispy or the rosemary burns

Advice pls.

put rosemary in later.

i do this - you need to coat the potatoes and rosemary in oil

give the tin a good shake to get everything covered

I put them on at about 180, pinch of sea salt and paprika as well - 50 mins should be ok for new pots

It must be using the oil as I make rosemary roasties and they have never burnt. Black pepper on them too is nice.

not hot enough at start?

Oven is v.hot. All have a good coating of oil (but not too much) have put some rosemary and sea salt in and will add some more rosemary later on. Paprika sounds good.
