Bought a lovely Tefal grill pan, hoping to get the charcol line effect on my burgers...I oiled the pan slightly before use, got it smoking hot and then added burgers.....t'was no different to cooking in a frying pan!!!
What did I do wrong? I know cast iron grill pans are the best but I found them such a faff and my old one ended up rusting, hence buying the Tefal
