How long does spag bol take to cook?

I usually do it in the slow cooker so don't time it but want to do it on the hob tonight and not sure how long it takes?

I use 50/50 pork and beef mince, include a glass of red wine, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hrs. It is lovely and tender. The meat doesn't turn to mush, it just soaks up all the lovely flavours and tastes yummy

Why the two types of mince?

They have different textures. I wasn't sure the first time I did it but it works well.
