Can I freeze baked chocolate tart?

I ended up making two of these today and need to freeze one. The filling is just cream, dark chocolate and beaten eggs, which has been baked for an hour.

Is it safe to freeze it, and will it defrost ok?

I've never done it-seems like it might separate when defrosted though. Should refrigerate fine for awhile. Might be a good excuse to just eat it!

Thanks isenhart7, the problem is that I don't need any excuse to eat it...rather an excuse not to!

It will probably be ok frozen if it's been baked, it's unlikely to seperate.

Can't see why you couldn't freeze this, if it's been cooked.

Just make sure that you wrap it properly so that it doesn't get any freezer burn. Wrap tightly with clingfilm and then with foil.

Well, in that case-freeze it because the worst thing that could happen is that the filling gets watery and you'll save yourself the calories! Maybe it would it be good as a frozen desert?
